Required documents for RPL ACS Australia skill assessment:

Personal documents:

3 forms of ID:

Put a clear colour scan of your passport. Remember to provide the identification page of your passport.

Make sure that the name used in the application must match the name on your passport

Besides that, give two additional government issued identity documents from the country where you were born

Or the country of current residence, with a minimum of one bearing the applicant’s photograph

Clear colour scan of proof of name change (if applicable)

Migration Agent authorization form (when appointing an agent to an existing application)

Qualification documents:

Clear colour scan of your academic transcript, and

Clear colour scan of the award certificate (testamur) or a completion letter for Australian qualifications

Make sure that the below-given information is in your qualification documents for a proper ACS RPL assessment:

·        Title of degree or award

·        University name or awarding institution

·        Date of the degree or award completion

·        Subject/unit names and grades or marks you attained

·        Abstract of research if the qualification is completed by means of research or project abstract together with a supporting endorsement letter from the research/thesis supervisor

·        If providing your master’s qualification, provide your bachelor’s qualification as well.

·        Completion letter and transcript for ACS Professional Year Program (if applicable)

Work experience documents for ACS Australia skill assessment:  

Clear colour scan of your work references on company letterhead or third-party Statutory Declarations

Your employment references must have the following:

·        Start and Finish Dates of Employment: these must be specific dates in the format of DD/MM/YY. In case of ‘current’ role, your employer reference must state the start date and finish date to state ‘current’.

·        Position title like ‘Software Engineer’

·        Description of duties you did: it must determine the relevancy of the experience to the nominated occupation and should be unique for each employment episode.

·        How many hours you worked: full-time or part-time and actual hours you worked per week

·        The country where you worked

·        Contact details of signatory like phone number and official email address (there should be no personal email address)

All Statutory Declarations or Affidavits must state that the document was ‘Sworn Before’ or ‘Signed Before’ or ‘Witnessed Before’ authorized witness by the referee and signed by the authorized witness with the place and date where the declaration was witnessed.

The Statutory Declaration or Affidavit has to be written by a third-party workmate at a managerial or supervisory level. It must be written by you.

A Statutory Declaration or Affidavit written by a workmate has to describe their work relationship with you and the details of the duties you did with related dates of employment.

The declarant has to give a minimum of one of the following pieces of proof of their professional relationship with the applicant:

·        Employment certificate/statement of service

·        Leaving certificate if not working at the same company any longer

An explanation from your employer as to why an employment reference letter can’t be provided
