on company letterhead or third-party Statutory Declarations
Your employment references must have the
following:

Start and Finish Dates of
Employment: these must be specific dates in the format of DD/MM/YY. In case of
‘current’ role, your employer reference must state the start date and finish
date to state ‘current’.
·
Position title like
‘Software Engineer’
·
Description
of duties you did: it must determine the
relevancy of the experience to the nominated occupation and should be unique
for each employment episode.
·
How
many hours you worked: full-time or part-time
and actual hours you worked per week
·
The country where you worked
·
Contact details of
signatory like phone number and official email address (there should be no
personal email address)
All Statutory Declarations or Affidavits
must state that the document was ‘Sworn Before’ or ‘Signed Before’ or
‘Witnessed Before’ authorized witness by the referee and signed by the
authorized witness with the place and date where the declaration was witnessed.
The Statutory Declaration or Affidavit has
to be written by a third-party workmate at a managerial or supervisory level.
It must be written by you.
A Statutory Declaration or Affidavit
written by a workmate has to describe their work relationship with you and the
details of the duties you did with related dates of employment.
The declarant has to give a minimum of one
of the following pieces of proof of their professional relationship with the
applicant:

Employment
certificate/statement of service
·
Leaving certificate if not
working at the same company any longer
An explanation from your employer as to why
an employment reference letter can’t be provided

evidence and the ACS Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) form. You should take
